Springberry Landscaping installed a gorgeous cedar deck and paver patio onto our home this summer. They are both absolutely gorgeous and the quality of the final product is second to none. Ray kept us informed on every step of the process through the entire project. Ray and Noah were very respectful of our yard and keeping the work supplies tidy. As someone who works in the field of hardscape, I have seen hundreds of patios/dirveways installed by many different landscapers. I can say, without question, that Spring Beryy Landscaping is among the top landscapers that you can hire. Their attention to details throughout the entire process is second to none. Ray and his crew took the extra efforts to make sure that the yard was not disturbed during the installation of my new patio. In fact the only way you can tell they were there is the beautiful new patio in the back yard. Working in the field of hardscape it is very easy for me to pick on all the negative things that a company did during an install, I have seen it all. However, I can honestly say that the work that Spring Berry completed at my house was 100% perfect and I could not be more thrilled to write this letter of recommendation. 

My wife and I cannot thank you enough for the work that you and your team put into our new patio. The level of craftsmanship that was shown in building our custom steps is just another example of going above and beyond for their customers. ray could have easily just installed a basic set of stairs, but knew I wanted more and he delivered! Ray and his crew redid our patio last summer and were wonderful! From the design ideas, the thoroughness, the punctuality, and the attention to detail I was very impressed! He helped us to recreate our backyard into a beautiful space and even helped us to save money on pavers by reusing our existing and they still look like new!  They showed up to work everyday and were there until the job was complete.  They were very friendly and cleaned up after themselves.  Ray's price was very competitive and I really like that he was onsite working for the entire project. This letter is to endorse and highly recommend Spring Berry Landscaping for their quality work and quality customer service!  Ray Spring, owner/operator, has been contracting with Stratford Ecological Center for over 5 years for our mowing, trimming and special projects and has done consistently outstanding work!  

Spring Berry Landscaping also watches out for the customer’s pocketbook. For example, he only mows when needed and does not take advantage of the customer during dry weather when the grass has not grown enough to merit mowing (unlike some other companies).  And he doesn’t try to push any lawn or garden products onto you either – he only does or applies what you ask him to!

Ray and his crew, Jim Westbrook, also show great sensitivity towards the environment they are hired to take care of – they are keenly aware of the health of your turf, landscaping plants and trees as well. We have over 5,000 children visiting the Stratford Ecological Center annually, and it is comforting to know that our young visitors have a healthy and durable environment to visit and play in.

Moreover, Ray being a certified arborist often offers unsolicited advice to the health and trimming needs of the trees that exist in our property’s landscape.

Spring Berry’s patio designs and construction are among the best we have ever seen – and the work is done professionally in a timely manner. After completing our 60 X 20 foot patio with pavers and edging, we have received many compliments on its beauty from our visitors, including other professional landscapers.  It is now one of the most widely used spaces on Stratford’s property – rain or shine!  Spring Berry Landscaping is also very proficient in masonry stone work and laying up stone walls or embankment reinforcements.

Ray Spring and his crew installed steps and a dry creek effect in our back yard. First let me say, it is absolutely beautiful! Ray did a great job of picking out natural materials to match the environmental setting. He has a natural talent for this. He has over twenty-five years of experience in his field of expertise and is very knowledgeable, as he also answered questions as to what kinds of mulch, plants, etc. that he would use to help us complete the scape. Ray and his crew were actually a pleasure to have at our home; they were friendly to us and all of our visitors. We are going to miss having them around. As far as getting deadlines, Ray did exactly what he told us he was going to do. He was right on budget. We strongly recommend Ray of all of your landscape needs.

Impressive - that is how we describe the professional work ethic and results that were created after Springberry Landscaping completed the hardscaping in our front and backyard. Ray exhibited creativity during our consultation which developed into a raised patio and walkway design unique for our setting. He was very open and observant to our ideas as well as what styles we likes. Always on time, he and the crew worked hard and smart using his extensive engineering landscaping skills to maneuver tons of barn stone and pavers without the use of heavy equipment. This meant no damage was done to our turf, as we were anticipating would occur. Each day the site was cleaned, prepped and ready for the next day.
